Today's Advice

Hey y'all!
I hope everyone had a super great 4th of July!!! Well, today's advice is going to be quick, but good, so you might want to keep reading:)


EVERYBODY has probably at least 2 colors that look good on them. People, find the colors that look good on you and buy more stuff in that color. Make sure you buy stuff in other colors too, though. Maybe one day try on every color shirt you have a pick which two colors you think look best on you. A color that looks good on you is a color that looks good with your skin tone and makes your eyes pop.

TOMORROW IS THE 4TH OF JULY!!!

I love the 4th of July! It is always so fun. What I am thinking of wearing tomorrow is a denim shirt that has some bling with my new dark blue shorts. I always wear a lot of accessories on the Fourth of July, so what I am thinking of doing is wearing my red, white, and blue bracelets with a blue necklace, red,white, and blue ear rings, and either my red, white, and blue ponytail thing, or a blue or white bow.

Hair!!!

So for when school starts or if you are in a hurry here is a quick and easy hair style:

My hair is naturally wavy and I can usually wear it down without blow drying, curling, or straightening it. So, what I like to do is tilt my head slightly back, brush the front of my hair straight back and slide a headband on. Quick, easy, and cute!

If your hair is not like mine and you cant let it air dry and wear it down than do the same steps above and then put your hair in a ponytail.

My Outfit Today!!

Hey!!!

My outfit today was a plain dark blue shirt with my lime green shorts that I got on Sunday with a bling bow necklace. When I was out and about I wore my silver sparkly Toms. Yes, I practically wear them everyday:)

Today's Advice

First of all, Justice had a great sale yesterday(YAYY!!) so I got some more shorts. I got lime green, dark blue, and bright pink. The sale was totally amazing!

Now here is what you have been waiting for.....TODAY'S ADVICE!!!

Bringing an Outfit Together:

So, some people struggle with putting that finishing touch to their outfit. The thing that just pulls it all together. Well, what it is is ACCESSORIES. Such as jewelry, hats, scarves, and purses.

Accessories are the pieces that just bring it all together. For example: So maybe you have some mint  green shorts on with a plain dark blue shirt. It's cute, but needs something. What you do for an outfit where it is plain at the top is add a necklace. You can also put a scarf on or use a cross body purse.

Another Example: You are wearing a pink and white polka dot shirt with some denim shorts. The top is fine, but you feel the bottom is plain. There is no jewelry to put on your shorts, so you should wear a cute bracelet. 

Bracelets: Some people wear bracelets they like with every outfit. Well, unless it is silver (don;t wear silver with gold though!!)it won't match everything. My advice with bracelets is wear them when they match and when they don't wear another one.

Necklaces: They can be used to spice up an outfit and bring it all together. Necklaces are SUPER important to have!!

Scarf: These can be worn in every season except Summer!

Purses: Hold your stuff in a fashionable way.

Hats: Wear them to block the sun from your face or if you are going to the ball game.

I AM BACK!!!

I am so Sorry that I haven't posted in a long time, but I am back and I have some more advice.

So it is finally summer! Yay!! Now it is hot where I live, so shorts are what I live in during summer. What shorts I think EVERYBODY needs are colored shorts. I have yellow, mint green, blue, pink, and peach colored shorts. When you are picking out colored shorts find shorts that you could wear with at least 3 shirts.

What I like to do with my colored shorts is wear them with a white shirt with a short sleeve sweater and a cute necklace. Make the sweater a different color than the shorts to look cuter. I like the white shirt I wear to either have ruffles or sparkles because I personally think that if it is a plain white shirt that the outfit is too plain. If you are planning to wear a big, fancy, over the top necklace then I would wear a plain white shirt, but if not make it a more special shirt.

This summer I have been wearing really bright colors. Though when I have been out and about lately, I have seen some people wearing really bright shorts and a bright shirt. DO NOT WEAR THAT! That is way too bright. Either you wear a bright shirt with a darker shade of shorts or bright shorts and a darker shade shirt.

Some questions you might have:

What if I am wearing a dark shirt with a little bit of really bright color with bright shorts. Is that okay?

Is it okay if I wear a bright colored necklace with bright shorts and a white or more darker shade shirt?

What if I like bright shorts with bright shirts?

Answers:

1. That is TOTALLY fine. If the whole shirt is bright than it is too much, but just a little would be fine.

2. I think that would look really cute. Try it on and make sure you look in the mirror and see if you like it before you walk out of the house. You should do this with EVERY outfit. It might look good on the hanger but bad on.

3. If you like bright on bright that is fine. I just personally don't like TOO MUCH bright. If you want really bright colors maybe wear bright bottoms, a white shirt, a bright sweater, and a bright necklace. Do that if you are going to a place like church. You want to be bright because that is what you like, but you don't want to stand out or distract people with your brightness.
